Target Population and Approach
Jijali aims to train at least 2500 youths on career and entrepreneurship in three phases. The training will be delivered through a blended approach combining both face-to-face interaction and online learning. 100 youths will be trained in Phase I and 400 youths in Phase II. Being the first of its kind in Kenya, lessons learned during implementation of the first two phases will be incorporated into a platform that is to be deployed online to reach at least 2,000 youths in Phase III.
It is anticipated that through this program, young people will have access to a blended learning platform offering affordable and effective programs for skills training in career and entrepreneurship, thereby increasing their income.
